Edoardo Bove, Fiorentina midfielder, was rushed off the pitch in an ambulance after collapsing during their Serie A clash against Inter Milan on Sunday. The 21-year-old lost consciousness, sparking immediate concern among players and fans.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Bove is now breathing independently and has regained consciousness. Fiorentina later confirmed that he is under pharmacological sedation and remains in intensive care.
“Bove arrived in stable hemodynamic conditions, and initial cardiological and neurological tests ruled out acute damage to the central nervous system and the cardio-respiratory system,” the club stated.
Bove’s condition will be re-evaluated in the next 24 hours as doctors continue to monitor his recovery. Further updates are expected as Fiorentina supporters and the wider football community hope for his swift return to health.
