AS Roma has officially announced the dismissal of manager Ivan Jurić after a short and challenging stint at the club. Jurić, who took over at the start of the season following Daniele De Rossi’s departure, managed the team for only twelve matches. In that time, Roma secured just three wins while suffering five losses, leaving them in a disappointing 12th place in the league standings.
The club’s sporting director, Andrea Ghisolfi, explained the decision to part ways with Jurić, saying, “We’re going to take some time to pick the best option. We have a responsibility to our fans and the club’s legacy to ensure that we make a choice that aligns with our ambitions and values. We are grateful to Ivan for his contributions but believe this is the best way forward.”
With Roma eager to turn their season around, rumors have already started circulating about potential candidates for the job. One notable name that has emerged is Roberto Mancini, the former Italy national team coach. Many fans hope his experience and reputation could bring stability and a fresh approach to the struggling squad.
For now, Roma’s management plans to carefully evaluate their options in the search for a manager who can not only align with their long-term vision but also deliver much-needed results on the field.
