Most people think you have to have a wallet full of cash to go on a date. The truth is sometimes you do but not always. Some dates require as little as no money to go on. With a little creativity and planning you can experience some of the most exciting and memorable dates with you partner without breaking your bank account. Here are some date ideas that require little to no money but will guarantee a lovely, romantic and a memorable time with your partner.
1. Picnic in the Park: You don’t need a purse or a wallet full of cash to go on a date like this. All you need to do is pack a basket full of your favorite snacks and head to the nearest park. The fresh air and sunshine makes enjoying each other’s company more pleasant while indulging in delicious treats that will cost you little money.
2. Movie Night at home: Perhaps the tickets for the cinema are too expensive. No problem! Instead of going to the cinema, stay in and have a movie night at home. Pick a movie you both enjoy and make some popcorn together. Not only will this be fun, it will also build familiarity with your partner if you’re just getting to know them. You can throw popcorn at each other and laugh without worrying about anybody telling you to keep your voice down. As the night progresses you can loosen things by cuddling on the couch while you both enjoy each other’s company. All without breaking your bank account!
3. Cook together: Cooking together can be a fun and romantic activity. Invite your partner over and choose a recipe you both like and work together to make a delicious meal while you have fun with it. To make things more interesting you can make it a competition to see who comes out with the most delicious meal.
4. Visit a Museum or Art Gallery: Visiting museums and art galleries is one of the most romantic yet educational ways to spend time with your partner and you can do it for free. Many museums and art galleries offer free admissions on certain days of the week. Take advantage of this and spend the day exploring and learning together.
5. Watching the skies at night: This is my favorite idea for a date and it costs so little. Start the night smooth with a somewhat long drive to an ice cream shop while music you both enjoy plays. Get ice cream after and find a nice spot preferably on a hill to just watch the skies and enjoy each other’s company.
In conclusion there are so many ideas for a date that won’t break your bank account. It can be any of these or you can come up with some yourself. Bottom line is you don’t have to be rich to have a good time with your partner even though it is very important to go get that bag. Remember it’s the time spent together that counts the most not the money. I hope this article was helpful!
