2023 GFA ELECTIONS: Kurt Okraku retains his seat as GFA President.

On Thursday October 5th, 2023 the Ghana Football Association (GFA) elected new members to form the new executive council in an elective congress at the Global Dreams Hotel in Tamale. Mr. Kurt Edwin-Simeon Okraku was re-elected as GFA president for the next four years. He accumulated a total of 117 yes votes of the 120 votes cast. George Afriyie the other aspiring candidate for the position was disqualified. Hence Mr. Kurt Okraku went unopposed.
On the executive council; Dr. Randy Abbey,Fredrick, Nana Oduro Sarfo and Kingley Osei Bonsu also retained their positions as Ghana Premier League representatives. The new faces on the executive council are former
blackstrap coach Akwesi Appiah and Gifty Oware-Mensah who serves as the women’s premier league representative.
Mark Addo, Gideon Fosu and Eugene Nobel were also elected as the representatives from the division one league.
